40 KM Shivamogga to Shikaripura New Track

 Execution of comprehensive works including construction of roadbed, bridges, supply of ballast, and installation of track (including supply of rails and track sleepers), along with general electrification, provision of overhead electrification (OHE), and signaling & telecommunication systems for a new railway line between Shivamogga and Shikaripura in the Mysore Division of South Western Railway, Karnataka, India—extending up to 40KM. The project is being undertaken in geographically challenging terrain, requiring advanced engineering solutions, precision planning, and specialized construction methodologies to ensure seamless execution and long-term operational efficiency.

New Broad Gauge Line Track Between Hirekotangal And Raichur

Constructing a new broad-gauge railway line between Hirekotangal and Raichur, part of the larger Ginigera-Raichur New Line project, with a total length of 49.5 km. New Line project aims to improve rail connectivity in Northern Karnataka, facilitating faster movement of goods and boosting local economies. 

Project includes 

  • · Yards: Include 4 line yard at Manvi and Include 3 line yard at Nirmanvi and Kallur 
  • · Bridges: 14 Major Bridges, 134 Minor Bridges, and 76 RUB/ROBS
  • · Stations: 4 new stations

75 KM Valigonda to Kukkadam Doubling

The Valigonda to Kukkadam doubling project involves doubling the railway track between Valigonda and Kukkadam stations, a 75 km stretch, as part of the larger Guntur-Bibinagar doubling project in the Guntur division of South Central Railway, including electrification and signaling works.  

 

  • Project Scope: The project focuses on doubling the railway track between Valigonda station (inclusive) and Kukkadam station (exclusive). 
  • Location: The project falls under the Guntur division of South Central Railway. 
  • Length: The doubled track will span approximately 75 kilometers. 
  • Included Works: The project includes the doubling of tracks, along with electrification and signaling works. 
  • Context: This project is part of the broader Guntur-Bibinagar doubling project. 
  • Tenders: There have been tenders for the construction (EPC) contract for this doubling project. 
  • Financial Details: The project cost is around 853.09 crore rupees (₹8.53 Billion). 

3.5 KM Bridge Across the Godavari River at Kotipalli

The Gowthami Godavari Railway Bridge is part of the Kotipalli-Narasapur railway line project in Andhra Pradesh. This ambitious project aims to connect the fertile Konaseema region with a robust railway network. The bridge is a significant component of this project, spanning 3.5 KM across the Gowthami River.

The railway line project covers a distance of 57 kilometers and is being executed in phases. The bridge itself features a superstructure with a span arrangement of 44×76.20 meters, using steel open web girders, along with approach via duct spans and earthwork on both sides. 

 

  • Steel Open Web Girders: These girders were fabricated and assembled with high precision to ensure structural integrity and load-bearing capacity.
  • Approach Viaducts: Pre-stressed concrete box girders were used for the approach spans, providing durability and reducing construction time.
  • Earthwork: Extensive earthwork was carried out on both sides to create stable embankments and ensure smooth connectivity.
  • Advanced Equipment: Specialized machinery and techniques were employed to handle the large-scale construction and ensure safety
